I have read if you put Bounce dryer sheets under the cushions the smell keeps them off the furniture.

Default Anoles in the lanai

Use pipe insulation to stuff under the bottom of the vinyl siding. Works very well.

Blast rap music, that will keep them out.

I use crushed eggshells, where they are coming into my Lanai. Sounds crazy but it works!

Great pets $7.99 at Pet Smart. Keep your pet's home at 70 F. They can live up to 5 years.

Less trouble than a California "unhoused" person in your Sunroom.

Anyone have a solution for keeping them out? They can get in the tiniest of openings. I have tried a spray called Toodaloo which they didn't like but now they seem to have gotten used to :it. I don't want to kill them but also don't want them to consider our Lanai their home.
If you have a vinyl sided place they get around the ends from under the vinyl siding. I cut Styrofoam blocks a pushed them up under the siding and problem solved.

Default No more anoles

We put duck tape at bottom of siding, caulked any crevices, fuzzy pipe cleaners in drain crevices, check doors to outside. No more anoles.

I've applied for a restraining order against them coming within 25 feet of our lanai.

Good grief, you moved to Florida. Anoles, snakes, fire ants, roaches and god knows what else are all part of the Florida experience. Leave the little guys alone, they eat bugs, they got in, they can get out.

Default Ohiobuckeye

Can’t believe the comments that think they don’t hurt anything so let them alone, seriously!

Totally agree! I really like the anoles. There are a number of them in the bird cage and I enjoy observing them.
