thanks - that was mentioned about 4 times already in this thread.

Heck, we always called the bison as buffalo but no one cared. The Villages High School are nicknamed the Buffalo. But technically they are American Bison.

Default Anole or Gecko

Anole or Gecko; Gecko or Anole! This thread gives way to seeking an explaination of just was is the difference between the two. Scrolling down on the following link will provide what appears to be a creditable answer to that question:

I hated to be an anole, but I told that gecko I was NOT interested in his insurance.

Gracie, you didn't happen to think the gecko's name was Stanley, did you?

Plus they are sooo adorable. (Sorry Gracie.)

If the little buggers are going to go dipping, you need to have a pool for them to dip in. And what's the mustard for; to give them some protection from the UV rays of the sun?

I get 4-5 gecko during the warm weather. I hesitate to close off the gridwork on the floor which is the source of entrance for them because it is designed to allow water to flow out preventing daming. So, I have taken to gecko hunting. I use a goldfish bowl net. I catch them, tag them and carry them way out away from my house.

The problem is they are stubbborn and they believe they have squatter rights. They have good GPS. My wife told me to leave them be because they kept the lanai clear of littler critters, until that is I showed her what became of digested little critters.
