In TN everybody waves to you... they don't give you the one finger solute. I lived in the NE for a bit and know people can get pretty testy there. Not all but some are in a big hurry all the time. On the other side some retired people will drive in the left land at any speed they choose and that is annoying too. This is a great idea ... I especially like the notion of sponsorship.

Actually, after a while, everyone might realize how ridiculous and pointless golf cart road rage really is.

It's always comforting to have responses like this when you are using TOTV to report an experience. In one of the busiest streets in TV (Morse Blvd) at dinner time, I should have put my car in park, blocked the only remaining access for vehicles heading north (the two gold carts with fighting drivers blocked the other lanes), and done what exactly? Walk into the middle of this brawl? It would have been akin to stepping in between two large dogs fighting, both of whom were bigger than me! Come on .....think before you engage your fingers on here please. The police were called and responded quickly. I had no idea what prompted this altercation and therefore had nothing of any value to add. This was a disgraceful public nuisance incident not a robbery or shooting.

Although at first blush I agree with you, I remember that back in Ohio every time you registered something the politicians would use it as way to tax it. And then it was off to the races. I'm taxed enough and don't want to open the door to more regulation and the taxes that come along with it.

I agree. You took the correct option. As you said, there was no place for you to pull over without creating an additional traffic hazard.
