Anyone have any recommendations on a good cart shop?
We had a nail in a tire last week called Andy Robinson at The Tire Guy. He came the next morning at 8:00 repaired the tire in a few minutes and only charged 25.00. Nice young man and very efficient. We live in Bradford hope this helps his # 352 434 2254. Nice to not need to take the cart and wait.

We, too, were told by Villages Golf Carts that they no longer service carts not purchased there - too busy. I imagine those who have used them for years will continue to get service, but the OP was correct about their current service. Their current policy is that they service only what they sell.

If hammered on by impact gun they can be very hard to get off by hand. That’s why I remove tire and take it to them so I can install wheel and torque lugs nuts to 35 foot pounds. The impact gun will torque them to at least 90 plus foot pounds which if you don’t have impact gun you just spin the wheel trying to break them loose. I found that 35 foot pounds for me just tight enough and not too tight where you can remove them. And no, none of lugs nuts have ever loosen torque to 35 foot pounds cause I checked them.

Boulevard Tire on 441 South of the Villages. The best. Polite and reasonable.

Make sure you soend a few bucks mire and buy RADIAL tires. They ride sooo much softer and smoother than the cheaper, “standard” tires. Radials are worth every penny of the additional cost.

Try any tire store or golf cart service shop.

Understandable that they can only service "their" customers. When you are by far the number one golf cart retailer, probably in the world with an average cart sales at 450 a month, it makes sense.

5 Star Golf Carts did that very thing for our cart. Picked up cart, mounted new tires my son sent to us, balanced them, and dropped off the cart a day later! Shawn was great! $75

The specs for my 2014 Yamaha lug nuts are 65 ft.lb, this is not a number you decide on because it’s easier for you to get them off, it’s calculated for safety.
