just a tip for smokers: Marlboro makes a pocket ashtray, believe it or not. it's in the shape of a zippo lighter, top opens to show a spot to tip the ash, and when done, you can place the entire butt, still lit, into the ashtray & close it where it goes out right away. check their website, i got it years ago as a 'prize' for trying a new blend.

The litter is left by the same elite individuals that don't pick up their dog's poop. Now here's a new topic to discuss, is dog poop considered litter?

The “government” has no power or money except what is given to them by the people.

And the government makes the rules and can enforce the restrictions, not the residents. If it makes you feel better to believe you own anything except your home, then keep believing.

Not sure if we really own our home? Just don't pay real estate taxes and the gov will come take it away. We pay taxes so we can say we own a home. Now the fed gov is threating to add their RE taxes to our homes.

We also pick up trash that is purposely discarded or flies out of golf carts. Some of these items include used masks, used tissues, candy wrappers and, my all-time favorite—-cigarette butts. Every time I find one, I cringe because it has been in someone’s mouth who may be COVID positive. Is it too much to ask that golfers who smoke carry a small plastic ashtray in their carts? I find butts on tee boxes, along the cart paths and even on the greens. Finally, just an FYI, this littering has not increased since the “birdies” arrived. This has been going on for a while now. Let’s be considerate of our fellow golfers and the staff that picks up after you.

Just a reminder that when there are restrictions such as cart path only, we expect you to abide by the rules. This restriction apply to ALL golfers, including those with RA tags! Ambassadors were not hired to be traffic cops. Thanks in advance.
