I'm not a golfer. I heard someone describe a course in a club nearby ( ocala ) area that had holes patterned after classic ones

Really?????? Again, 2 of the 3 nines are executive courses. When you look at it from the 7th of Calusa, it appears to be a cow meadow.

Streamsong. Might be a tad over 2 hours but you'll play one, two or three of the best golf courses in Florida which are also rated in the top 100 publicly accessed tracks in the nation. Bucket list. If you're taking advantage of summer specials....be sure to bring your SPF 50.

Can you play Copperhead without a stay at the resort?

Royal St Cloud Golf Links, just south of Orlando. Links style, course always in good shape and very reasonable.

World Woods. Two Fantastic golf courses. Clubhouse is nothing fancy. Reasonably priced given the quality

Baseline Golf Course , about 20 miles or so from TV. Beautiful Course, great Pro Shop, and no reservations needed for tee times.
