I think the whole point of this thread, was to provide alternatives because...

(wait for it)

you can't FIND any bleach or rubbing alcohol at any stores presently.

If you could, you wouldn't need a thread to come up with a recipe for making your own disinfectant - the label on the bleach bottle has the directions already. Which you can use - if you have a bottle of bleach. Which many people don't have - because they never thought to buy any, and the stores are currently out of it.

As an alternative for the ingredients that work best, but that you can't find in the stores -

you can use a high-alcohol content (120 proof or higher) unflavored vodka or grain alcohol.

I mix my Vodka with my Vitamin C "Orange Juice" and take it internally.

For folks who want more bleach, check the shelves for bleach 'pills'. The brand I have is evolve.

You dissolve them in water, presto-chango, bleach. You can control the strength; directions on the bottle. They seem to be overlooked by most people.

We discovered them when we had a lake place in NW WI. Used the temperature stable pills to control mold and mildew on concrete.

The CDC has online specific recipes for wipes, disinfectant spray, and even personal hygiene items.
