Default My Glass is the same as Gracie's

I am surprised that it is not worse. We did get bumped for Wednesdaybut have golfed all the rest. The restaurants are not too bad yet. You wait in any City. This weather is soooo beautiful it really cancels out all the other things you mention.

best way to describe it is;;; it is like a big university in the fall on a home football game,,, EVERYDAY!,, lots of excitement,, lots of drinking,, good music,, good food,,,, come on down an enjoy,,, we all find something to complain about,,,, it is a great life we have here,,,, I play golf everyday i want to play,,, i am not picky with my times or where i play,,, just enjoy,,, we all are in the checkout lane of life,, just hope it is not the express line!

If you're flexible you'll be fine during the "high season". I personally haven't joined the exercise classes as they can fill very early (it's with a ticket system..get a ticket upon arrival you'll get in).

Restaurants...if you go at 6 or 7 you'll wait! If you go a bit early you'll get in. Yes the squares are full but it's fun to "people watch". Don't you wonder what everyone's kids would think, if they could see Mom and Dad having fun??

I can't write about golf times, but we do go out for dinner 3 times a week. We tend to go out a little later....7:00 or later. We avoid the big rush and have never had a huge problem. As for the popular exercise classes, you might have to arrive an hour early, but it is a perfect time to chit chat with the nice people in line with you, read a book, do a crossword puzzle, or read the paper. Isn't that what we wished we'd have time for when we were working endless hours? Hey...we're retired...what's the rush?

Went out to dinner on Saturday night at Lake Sumter Landing. Party of 7 around 6pm, waited only 30 minutes. That is pretty good. In Ocala we have waited much longer.

I look at The Villages as sort of a 10,000 acre cruise ship, yeah it might be a bit crowded in some places, but they entertain you, their is lots to do, and you definately can have some good times.

I agree with you Grace. I am not full time at TV yet, but we have not found one single thing we don't like at TV… and it keeps getting better by the day!

I find it almost claustrophobic down here Jan-April and am grateful for my full time job outside TV. In June, I can get to it in 15 minutes...during the "bird" season, it takes me 45 minutes down 441. I usually eat out a couple of times a week and head for Ocala. The lines are way too long here.
