Don't know about the other activities you posted if "Guess Passes" are welcome....
I would have resident ID for my wife and I. Are amenities open for guests yet? Pools etc.

The Villages doesn't want you unless you plan to buy a house.

Well it’s a fee of $162 a month, whatever it is called. There is a difference between snowbirds and renting out. I understand “snowbirds” live here maybe 6 months out of the year and go back north, but I didn’t realize so many people rented there homes. And yes I viewed this as being exclusive with the fees we pay and the bonds we pay. I just don’t feel renters or guest should use certain things. The place a lived at before, guest were not allowed to use our workout facility. We didn’t want just anybody coming in there and maybe not using stuff right or younger people abusing it. Just saying. If I didn’t care about this I would have moved into a high rise condo on the beach where ever week you have a different neighbor.

think you'll find the same people here as you have now in oh,,, some are great, some are so-so, & the rest are like your mother's uncle who snorts, complains, & does other things unappealing to the 1st 2 groups,,, don't expect a lot & you won't be disappointed,,, personally i wouldn't pick summer as the best time to visit

By all means come on down. Been here almost 11 years full time I'll take the heat over the cold anyday. Bring money to spend and help the local businesses & their workers out. Things are opening up more and people are getting out and about more. As for the weather having moved from NY I'll take the heat. There are those here although not that many who don't like visitors I have no problem because at one point in time we were ALL visitors. Hope to see you soon!

Come on down. I always wonder about people who move to Florida and complain about the heat. Yup, it's hot! We have pools, you are 2hours from the Gulf (my favorite) or 2 hours from the Atlantic. Lakes everywhere, some of the greatest, cleanest rivers around, golf, tennis, pickleball, etc. Bring the gang and come on down, don't be scared!

Why not go to Death Valley. Same temperature and less humidity.

Summer is a great time to rent as there are a lot of homes available. We are opening up a lot of things and hopefully will be fully operational by then. I manage 40 Rentals, many with private Pools and requests are starting to pick up.
