Where else is anyone building golf courses, much less multiple golf courses?

Being able to add $150-$300k profit per homesite with a view is a huge motivation.
I don't know squat about golf courses. What's the difference between an Executive and a Championship? Both have 18 holes and Tees, fairways, sand traps, and greens with ponds.

No. In The Villages, Executive courses only have 9 holes.

Most of the Championship courses have 27 holes.

I can't recall what it was, but maybe that has something to do with it.
Construction wasn't shut down here. We are very fortunate.

Not a Premier but a Designer Begonia pre-owned home on the Belle Glade golf course (with a pool) is selling for 1.4 million in LaBelle North. There are no golf course lots for sale in The Villages and won’t be for a year or more given the length of time it takes to build a course. Given the demand, golf course lots will likely sell for 200,000 plus in the next 18 months. To each his own.

Wonder if someone would like to buy our Begonia and move it to a golf course? Would do it for 10% less.

As far as I can tell, they have not started building them. For those of you who have been here for several years, how long does it take from starting to build a course to opening day? Same question for Executive and Championship courses. Thanks.
The real question about building a golf course is why waste so much space on one in the 1st place. Soon there will be indoor computer sensor devices that can reproduce the good parts of the golf game without the waste of things like area and the use of excessive fertilizers that runoff and hurt the water table.

Executive golf courses are only for bigwig executives from the largest corporations in the USA. Championship courses well , you have to have a trophy from something ( even if it’s a participation trophy) in order to play there. I won a spelling bee in the second grade so I qualify! Dang I wish I could play executive courses though

When they do build it can we get a designated robot to tee off for me that is the worst part of my game and could use the help.

In TV, they are used for flood control...

Plus, they give off massive amounts of oxygen...

From the Google machine: "An average 18-hole golf course, approximately 150 acres, can produce enough pure oxygen through photosynthesis for at least 100,000 people for the entire year."

The courses can be built faster in the southern part of the Villages. All the carbon dioxide from the turnpike helps the new grass grow faster!
