Who would have guessed????
I thought so too just because they run stories about her in the paper and I never got the point of why.

Not a huge fan of the beauty school. I had never gone to a beauty school so I really have nothing to compare it too. It is very inexpensive but not .....for the impatient.

I am all for free enterprise but have a huge beef about the "products" sold in beauty salons. The prices are SO inflated and you are pressured to buy them.

You would only have to sell him once.

I'd rather have a root canal.

My husband also gets a pedicure. No polish. It is cheaper than the copay at the podiatrist.
I also had a bad experience at the beauty school and have not returned.

I think that gal that owns all of those salons is Janet West.

Y'know, I don't even mind spending good money on a haircut, but not on a bad haircut. I've been to Dimensions and IMO they were terrible. So, I figured if I'm going to have a bad hairdo I may as well have a cheap bad hairdo and went to Cal's. I'm a bit grossed out that they don't wash your hair first.

I can tell just by the way they all hold their scissors that it's not going to be good. You can't get the type of cut I'm accustomed to on dry hair.

Right now I'm starting to look like that woman from 26 kids and counting.

Did the explain how exactly the 'foot foam' 'heals' cracks in the calluses on your heels. The callus is dead skin, it doesn't 'heal'.

You might as well just buy some wood putty and shove it in the cracks (then let it dry and sand it down of course).

I may have mis spoke......I think she said putting the foam on your heels would make it easier to get the dead skin off because she proceeded to do very little filing and more rubbing of my feet. Apparently the foam loosens the dead skin......

I agree---as do all my neighbors. We all go to Angela's. I had mani/pedi and the total cost was 35.00 but, of course, I tipped in addition to this amount. They have more elaborate manicures and pedicures with different lotions, styles, etc., which can add to this price. They have a brochure you can pick up and it details all of these including the prices.

It's next door to the Serenity Dental Spa & the ticket office, I've been there twice, paid $35.00 for a manicure and pedicure, plus tip. My husband joined me the first time we went, he ended up getting a pedicure only, price was $25.00. I would go back.
