I used to do that (contacts only) until someone very close to me who lived alone wound up in the hospital and the call from the person who took them there went to voicemail at 1AM. As it turns out he sadly passed away and I just might have got there in time (4 hrs away) to say goodbye had I got the call. My father always had a phone with him but when he got sick his friend took him to the hospital he left it at home. While the "contacts only" feature works great I will never again use it. Couldn't go through that again. You never know who might need to contact you in an emergency from a non-contact list number.

Yep you guessed it, all cell phones are put in the box.
No answering calls, no texting

When we take our grandkids out to eat anywhere, they all know, first one to pull out the cell phone will be treating everyone else at the table to dinner, otherwise Grandpa picks up the tab....has not happened ONCE.
