The Villages were closer to Clearwater Beach.

But other than that I love it here.

If all the whiners and complainers would go back to where they came from.

There's a bit of delicious irony/hypocrisy, reading all of the complaining and whining - toward those who complain and whine. lol

It's not just TV, as I've found most courses everywhere - do the same thing. I think it's a secret conspiracy. LOL

After 45 years of stressful working, moved here to try to…Let It Go, as best as we can.

Finding something wrong with TV, which we Chose to live in, just takes up time that one may not have tomorrow to complain about.

I’ve been thinking the same thing. Expecting (or worse, demanding) specific attitudes or actions from others can lead to disappointment.

Maybe putting it a different way: I would be happier here in the Villages if some people weren't trying so hard to convince me that I shouldn't be happy.

Oh, and winning the lottery would be nice too.

Happy people will be happy regardless of location. Same for miserable old farts who will always find something to justify their misery.

There are some outside influences, of course, but I believe happiness is a choice. Choose wisely.

I would be happier with my life in The Villages if I were 20 years younger.
