When I was in TV for a short time, I didn't bother with the $141 expense for a trail pass and I paid the $#.50 each time I played. Now, I will be there more often and with my wife beginning to golf it is time to break down and purchase the pass.
Where do I get it? I assume at a rec center? If not where? A friend also told me about winter golf gloves. I tried them on in NY and they felt cumbersome. Not sure if I'd be able to feel the club..or pick up a tee with them. Are they necessary? Why can't I just buy a regular right handed glove to go along with the left handed glove I usually wear?

Go to https://www.thevillages.net/ and look at the right hand side near the bottom for a pdf application. It also gives the places and times that they process them.

I agree with you. I hear from a friend that the weather has been pushing 80 degrees everyday but it is as windy as hell.

It has been a great December this year!
In the four+ years (wow time flies) I have been here I never have worn gloves for warmth on a golf course. That said, it does get pretty cold once in a while and if you MUST play I prefer keeping my hands warm with oversized mittens between shots. I have yet to play in weather that I have to do that, but my tolerance may be different than others... |

I have a circulation problem and sometimes need the winter gloves on the colder mornings. I do not find them cumbersome at all. Wearing two regular gloves will not provide the warmth that the winter gloves do. JMHO.

I'm like several others who normally don't play in colder weather. We prefer above 50 degrees, but with a wind that is chilly and the hand warmers do the trick! ![]()

I have both winter, and wet weather gloves. I have had no problems with either of them, when placing or picking up tees or ball markers. It is probably something you just need to get use too. Then again, I did buy them while playing in Pennsylvania. I hope I don't need the winter gloves as much while playing in TV
