Maltese are very quiet, loving and a perfect house dog. The are very smart and easily trained. You will need to be willing to invest several hours a week to groom your Maltese.

I understand your thinking. Its very hard to lose a Greyhound, they are more than a dog.

I love all dogs, I always have, but the breed for me is the Yorkie. We had standard colored Yorkies for 25 years until we met the Biewer (pronounced Beeva). A Biewer is a black/gold/white or blue/gold/white Yorkie that keeps the long tail.

We have 2 sisters from the same litter, they bonded from birth and I couldn't stand the thought of them being seperated so I got both of them. They are a wonderful breed, my girls rarely (and I do mean rarely) ever bark, they are well mannered, non-shedding, they smile so big that they squint their eyes and show all of their teeth while wagging their tail........they love everyone, dogs and people alike.

My girls are over standard and they didn't want to make their ears stand up, I keep them in a puppy cut and I wouldn't have them any other way. They are big, lovable and the perfect sized fluffy little lap dog (all 12 and 13 pounds of them) it's like having my own real life stuffed animal!

So, I guess I should say that I already have the dog of my dreams

So I read your post and had to google "Biewer". How adorable, especially with the floppy ears! They do look like little stuffed animals.

Although I will say my Westie is the best and cutest breed, Biewers could be second!

Our mum is called Barefoot. She choose me because l had four homes and they all returned me to Pet Rescue. I needed someone that understood me. I'm 70 lbs, fuzzy and uncordinated, but I don't shed. When Barefoot brought me home, I had to learn my new Lollipop name. I was Molly in my last home, and Tina in the home before that one.

So far Barefoot is working out OK. The food here is good. But she hugs me an awful lot. She's a little slow in the mornings and I have to bug her until she takes me to the dog park. Sometimes she gets mad at me when I torment my little brother, which is just a joke because we're friends. When i act sorry, she hugs me and says "good girl". I think I've found my Forever Home with Barefoot and Fireboy and Biggins.

OH my Lollipop. I just knew you picked the right home.

So sweet and those pictures just before this post of those darling floppy ears...and peeking out from the covers.

I hope no one figures out I am buttering them up to see their puppies.

For those of you who still have your pups...you are blessed. And for those of you who have lost your pets...I feel for each of you and know the heartbreak of that loss.

When I get to heaven, my heaven will be filled with puppies and babies (or so I've been told).

Once you are owned by a Pug, your life will never be the same!!!

My little man, Chester was lucky to spend the last 3 months of his life here in The Villages, especially enjoying golf cart rides, warm sun, people watching at LSL and picnics at the Polo Grounds.

We were very lucky to have him part of our family for over 12 years. We still miss him very much and not a day goes by that we dont think about him or remember a funny think he did to enrich our lives!!
