"Coverage for physical damage to your golf cart extends only to the vehicle as it comes from the factory. Accessories added on at the dealership or by an individual, and therefore not provided as original equipment by the manufacturer, are not considered part of the vehicle as delivered from the factory." My interpretation of that is that the insurance company could, if they wanted to, deny me coverage if I altered my golf cart beyond factory build. |

"Okay, have it your way, but just because "you have never heard of it" doesn't make it fact. You may continue under your assumption. I think others should be much more concerned about their safety, the law and the possible consequence. You better hope you never get caught." I am not sure what "hype" you think TH may be caught up in but I think he is right on the money. I would add to his comment "You may continue under your assumption", by saying "the proof of the pudding is in the eating." Paulajean, you may find out the hard way that it is not hype. And someone else said, "I have a hard time believing that if someone has an accident and the police find that the golf cart was exceeding the speed it was designed for that the insurance company would overlook that information." That comment is right on the the money too. As one whose career was in insurance let me also add you have no idea to what lengths an insurance company will go to deny a claim. |
