Congratulations Jim & Linda and welcome. I think we also will be neighbors as we are in Hadley also, on Bainbridge Lane. We close on March 31 but still have our home in South Jersey on the market. Best of luck! Johnny

Yippee!

We closed on our home in TV this afternoon! My name is Phyllis and hubby is Peter. He is floating around cloud nine all by himself as I have commitments here, (NY) until next month. Our home is in Poinciana. We visited (for the third time), in January, 08, saw a house we loved and bought it.

Could someone explain how we go about meeting this group. Crispers???..............help

Thanks,
Phyllis

Welcome Phyllis and Peter. Wow what a night. Congratulations! I don't know what I am doing up so late, but I guess I can be the greeter for now. Wait until tomorrow, you guys will be deluged with welcome notes. I think I will leave the Crispers thing to the other veterans who attend and organize but I do believe it is the third Friday of each month. I'm sure someone will have better information than I. Once again WELCOME!!! Johnny

Jim & Linda, welcome to Hadleyville. Though it is new, it seems a great location and it's filling fast. You're gonna love the Havana golf course and the country club will be done in no time.

And welcome Phyllis and Peter to Poinciana. I live in the next village over and just love the area. As you'll see from comments in here, Cane Garden restaurant generally gets good reviews. I think you've got a fairly active social group -- web site: http://poincianavillage.org/index.html

Re the Crispers thing --- it's an informal get-together of folks who post here. Just get together, get something to drink and maybe eat, and BS face to face instead of over a keyboard. I went last month, met some really nice people, and had a good time. It is Friday (TODAY) at 3:00 at the Crispers Restaurant at Southern Trace (that's on CR466 by the high school). All four of you should come if possible and jump start your becoming full fledged Villagers.

Hi to add to what Muncle said we are usually outside in the patio. We will be the group that will be talking faster than we can type.

My name is Hyacinth Bucket pronounced Bouquet, if you ask for me I will be happy to introduce you to the others. I will be the one who looks she came straight from the hair stylist, which will be true. I am also heavy set, probably will a denim skirt.

Looking forward to seeing you later today.

Muncle will you be there to greet your new neighbors?

See ya,

Hyacinth Bucket

Jim & Linda and Umrjm can't wait to meet you all. We are still in NJ as I mentioned our house is still on the market. We close March 31 so we will be in TV until around the 3rd of April. Then it will be back and forth until the house sells. Keep the neighborhood hopping until we get there. Best of luck, Johnny & Barbara
PS: Jim I was born and raised on 212th street and Boston Rd. between Gun Hill Rd and Eastchester Rd. I think you are right, wasn't there a Bainbridge section in the Bronx?
