No, you have not seen it all. I saw a one ton Goodwill Truck turn down the golf trail at the Pinellas gate entry off Morse. A few years back while on my bike going down the hill to make a left through the tunnel next to Havana CC a guy slams on his brakes and flips the cart on the driver side. Clubs and other stuff all over the trail. He gets up, he and another guy pick up the clubs, turn the cart back up right and jump on. He said. "gota' go I have a T time. How do you flip a golf cart on the driver side and not break something?

One more for the "seen it all" files":
We've seen lots of interesting behavior in our traffic circles. I can kind of understand the one I saw who was driving around the circle in the wrong direction because going around traffic circles the "wrong way" was one of the hardest things about driving when I was visiting Australia so maybe he was from some place where they drive on the other side of the road. But a few years ago in the circle at Canal Street and Stillwater Trail, I saw a guy back up because he missed his exit! It's a CIRCLE! |
