I just couldn't figure out how a MAJOR stockholder was so concerned over 50 cents.
Hmmm, why can't I get a hold of (20) 50 cent coupons and get a $10 item free?
Maybe he bought the Publix stocks with coupons? I'm going to have to go look for that Publix coupon so I can go buy some stock.

Wet grass and quite a steep slope into the lake - recipe for disaster. (Lesson One for driving off road is that you should go straight down a hill, not across it.)
Fishing anyone??

Now that's the stuff that needs to get on video and put on the internet. No expectation of privacy while screaming at people in a Publix. Make him famous !!

Exactly. Obviously he was irrational. Would you ctiticize your own father or husband?

I’m proud of you; you stayed out of the fracas. I’m afraid that I wouldn’t have been able to keep my mouth shut. God only knows what I would have said to the crazy old coot.

You can't buy Publix stock O.T.C. It's only available to employees since the company is family/employee owned. I would have said, "give me YOUR name and I'll report YOU to corporate!

I believe Publix is an ESOP company (it's owned by the employees)...

I have a friend who advised me either before or shortly after we bought in The Villages
they do not get better as they get older, they get worse.
Up the corporate ladder? In the real world they likely have a clerk who gets all these complaints, likely hundreds per day. Repeated issues in a store, with an employee will be reviewed. I'm sure they also keep track of complaints by the person making them.

You can’t avoid it. You are surrounded by people in old age induced mental decline.

Sorry.
We as humans tend to notice the bad ones, often good people caught at a bad time.
We do not see, think, notice there goes another good, normal person.

I do not even claim to be perfect. More than once I've had people surprised when I say please, thank you, excuse me. I confess that I am skilled at telling people off as well.
