Holy Moley!! When we were there last month, they had no surcharge for using a credit card! We'll definitely pay attention when we're down there next month.

I was down in Wildwood today and gas at the Sunoco station at 301/44 was $3.39 a gallon which is 10 cents less a gallon than the two Shell stations on466.

Read/heard on a link I get on the "net" that the prices are up because of wargames going on in the Persian Gulf. The Iranians are doing shenanagans too and folks (??) are scared or some such thing! It will be "interesting" to see these things played out. Personally, I feel it's all 'smoke and mirrors'......

the only positive side of higher gas prices is maybe the fickle Americans will get up in arms and insist on energy independence so we don't have to worry about war games elsewhere in the world to price our gas.

Gasoline from foreign oil can only continue to increase in price. So $4-5 per gallon will be a reality sooner or later. Building higher gas mileage cars is not the answer. Energy independence is the ONLY answer.

So it would appear that it is price of oil futures and speculators are at it again. Possible trouble with Iran drives the price up.

Seems like it was only a week or two ago that it was reported that in the prior month we exported more oil than we inported. Guess we exported the low cost stuff and imported the high cost stuff.

while I do not know for sure, but I would expect there are American oil companies that are still exporting. Hence there is never a reduction of demand regardless the reduced consumption by Americans...therefore we see the effect of pricing changes and NEVER get the advantage of a surplus condition.

We the people on the short end of the stick....business and politics first as usual!!!

I guess one would need cheap gas in Laramie, as it would take one forever to get anywhere By the way, our gas was $3.05 today.

Actually there is no recognized place as Lake Viking Mo., Gallatin, and Cameron are the nearest actual towns to our lake development, each about 12-15 miles away.
