If you are going to install the knobs yourself try using Laurey 98201 Perfect Mount Precision Alignment Template for Cabinet Hardware. This item is from Amazon. Just be certain to be laser focused on the project, no distractions. It is an easy job as long as you measure twice and drill once. Lowes & Home Depot has a great selection of knobs and handles.

I usually measure once and drill twice. Not a good combination. I'll hire someone.

In my case, the coffeepot overflowed into a drawer. The paper veneer inside is not at all water resistant. The drawer box swelled in a flash. Luckily, DH is handy, so he built a new drawer box of wood and finished it well. You can't tell anything happened.
I put peel and stick tiles in cabinets that could use them. Eg. Taking glasses out of dw may still drip a wee bit, under sinks - just in case and so on. They are easier to wipe clean too.

I think the Designer series homes come with knobs and pulls but the courtyard and villas do not. Just a guess from looking at the pictures of the new homes for sale on TV website. I have a designer home that came with them but put pulls and knobs on my house in Las Vegas. If you are going to do them yourself, a few helpful hints: put blue painters tape on both sides where you drill to prevent chipping, use a fresh battery and new drill bit on your drill, and buy a jig/installation guide to have even holes. As for the bumpers, can you put them on the microwave instead of the cabinet? Might be less noticeable that way.
