If you watch old movies, there were times and places like the old west where moral ladies were not allowed in bars unaccompanied etc

In the PC world of today women want to be equal with men - so now no more discount drinks - be careful what you wish for.

I did something similar when in a medical office which only had single occupancy bathrooms. Someone was in the men's room so I went into the ladies bathroom. When I came out this lady was standing there staring at me shaking her head, I told her identify as a women.

The left wants to play stupid games so we will play stupid games.

The insinuation that ladies night “probably only attracts alcoholics” is a slap in the face to all women.

Maybe it’s your age bracket, that you feel women are not not capable of making good life choices, on their own, or a women who enters a bar on ladies night is an “alcoholic”.

So sad that some, Men or Women, still think of women this way.
That's not the meaning I took from his post. See post 9. I think Topspinmo meant the men whom the bar wanted to attract to hang out with the females (à la post 9) were the alcoholics, not the females themselves. I could see this not being good for the females.

I think discounts for seniors and veterans is BS. I’m ok with discounts for combat veterans but anyone else was just a govt employee

"Be careful what you wish for." That's ludicrous. We're talking wish for equal pay for the same job, but OH NO, Now I have to give up Ladies Night! What was I thinking!

I hope ladies don't start smelling like men.

Businesses "discriminate" all the time. You see discounts for seniors, retired military & 1st responders, repeat customers, AARP members, AAA members, early shoppers, and on and on and on. Is it really discrimination, or just marketing? Whining about a discount given to a certain group for which I may not qualify? Not the hill I want to die on.

This is of course hearsay on my part. Does anyone have any knowledge of this? (Would a man actually do that?). I personally don’t believe that anyone would have grounds for an individual or class action suit, since similar specials have been going on for decades throughout the country. Even so, the management apparently feels that they would still have to defend such a frivolous suit should one be filed, and subsequently stopped Ladies Night.
Comments?

This is what the world has become. That man should be ashamed of himself.
