Default Another factor

We've had a new house in Hadley since last March and have visited 4 times for less than one week each time because we still are both working full-time. Our annual income is higher than the average quoted; but we also can't live in TV full-time as a result. Although most homes are now owned in our area, many are still not occupied except on a part-time basis.

Also, since we are still working full-time, we own our home near Atlanta because that's where we work. In a few years, we'll probably sell the GA home, move to TV full-time...but see a fairly great drop in income as we'll both be retired.

Default Thanks....

Thanks to everyone for your comments. No one can really tell you how just "how much is enough", since as it was stated here several times, it's really a matter of the lifestyle you intent to maintain and the home you "decide" you can afford. This forum is a great avenue to glean the collective experiences of those who have gone before....for that I am appreciative.

Thanks.....
