Sorry did not fly with me…
It's good to have a variety of views.

Not exactly. If you accept the FDA definition of a scoop, which is 2.5 ounces, then, at $4 per scoop, a quart would cost $51. However, if you accept another common definition of a scoop, which is a half cup or 4 ounces, a quart would cost $32.

Since ice cream is not on my diet, I cannot confirm the actual amount of ice cream in the 4 dollar scoop at Sawgrass Grove. Maybe a skinny person can buy a scoop and measure the amount.

I found the video informative. Gives a good idea of the interior layout. Most Youtube video clips are interrupted by commercials, and on top of that, regulars like Don Wiley now has many of his own commercials flooding his well done videos. There will also be a cadre of posters pining for 1960's level pricing. Oh well. Just stay home. Anxious to see what brand of ice cream they are serving, or whether it is Home made. I've heard that many of the eateries have very erratic hours, and will wait until things settle down to give them a try.

Default Hours of Operation

Just my opinion - Sawgrass would do a whole lot better if all the merchants got together on the daily hours they are open and closed. People don't expect to go to a food court to find they have to wait another hour to order from the vendor they came for in the first place. Cheap popcorn won't cut it.

Agree, very innovative for the Villages. Similar to the very successful Plant Street Market in Winter Garden.

Cheapskates can find coupons for McDonalds and Burger King.

As long as the bar is open they'll do just fine. The owners of these little shops aren't beginners, they know what they're doing and will be successful without even trying.

When somebody aims to make money off their YouTube stuff they are subject to critiques. If you don't like it too bad. There are still some TV Youtubers putting out good content without pushing merchandise. What is your motive for dissing posters who don't agree with your opinion ? Are you part of this guy's family, too ?

One has to love posters during the hot summer months.

Sawgrass vendors have a very captive audience, staff is hard to come by, and expensive. So far not many comments about the actual food offered, just cost.

OP posted a link to Utube, about sawgrass. One can choose to watch. Most bloggers use their spouse or close friend for comments, which is easier, than stopping a stranger, get permission. They tried different food, gave opinion, didn’t complain about cost.

No I haven’t been to Sawgrass, I take the summers to travel to cooler climates (temps not cooperating this year) I spend less than 1.5 hours a day on the net, outside is so much more fun.

I am looking forward to trying different items from the vendors. Thanks to my financial planner for making my life easier., so I can buy a $4 ice cream

He did a video on Sawgrass Grove. Not on The Villages. I live next to Sawgrass and found this video very informative.

Lol. The video is well very made and it's GREAT that his family assisted with the effort. I hope he is very profitable. So, too bad.
