Try the Eustis Gun Club in Eustis. Not very far from The Villages.

I've driven past an indoor range on SR44 right side just before you get to Leesburg (about 6-7 miles east of Buena Vista). If you go there, let me know how you like it. The Villages has a group called the Sharpshooters who shoot there, along with an indoor range in Ocala, and an outdoor public range in the Ocala forest. Here is the SS's website: The Villages Straight Shooters Club - Home They just had a basic firearm talk yesterday at Seabreeze and about 40-50 people attended. The SS group seemed to be a pretty good club of shooting enthusiast who like to promote the sport and self defense.

The Gun Shop and Range is much closer than Eustis or Ocala. I don't think that they have an outdoor range.

This is the one that I use. It is clean and close. Indoor range only.

They rent pistols and sell ammunition and targets. If you rent their pistols you have to use their ammo. If you bring your own pistols/rifles you can use your own ammo.

Not bad for $9 an hour.

I didn't bring any guns to TV home. The insurance company on the home wanted to know if I had any guns in the home. If I brought guns to TV home what does this do to my insurance?

There's an App for that. Try: RangeFinder It works well and you can select the driving area, zero to one hundred twenty miles.

They would have wanted you to add a rider if the value of your firearms were high dollar amounts (ie. collections, rare models, etc.). If you only had a few, your regular home owners or NRA insurance would cover it.

Also a quality, heavy safe is a good idea.
Not fool/theft proof, but will thwart a "smash and grab"
and keep the grandkids safe....

Thanks. I might bring my small handgun safe and bolt it to the floor.

My insurance company did not ask me any questions regarding firearms. Maybe they didn't want to attack the 2nd amendment issue.
