Or that was my take on his post. I could be wrong. About the two orgs, too. (Have I covered my a** enough here?)
Oh I'm sorry, it was Warren, not rubicon.

I just want the dog to be found and reunited with it's owner, and another thing that worries me is that the dog's owner hasn't put out an alarm. The owner could be sick or something. I don't want the dog euthanized. I will book Heron to play next week with Sweetie and take some dog treats if we don't hear anything.

People care so much about pets here. I think that is beautiful.

And C. There isn't ANYTHING you could do to need to cover any part of you in my book.

The dog would be in Sumter so the Sumter Humane Society, that would be their district? So the Marion Humane Society couldn't be called?

Sure hope that little pooch survived the night - hope someone spots him soon.

Just saw this post on the pup. My husband saw the pup yesterday in the village of Poinciana around Westchester Way. By the time I got out of the house, he/she was gone. Will continue to watch the neighborhood.

That little dog must be starving. Now that it's off the golf course (I assume?) perhaps someone in the neighborhood could leave some food out.

Thanks for posting. Does it look like it is getting food from somewhere? I would think that a pooch that has been out on its own for a long time would be getting quite weak from loss of its usually source of food. My dog hunts moles, gophers and voles but only gets one every year or so. And one of these had been poisoned probably as it was just on the edge of a golf course and only about 1/2 and inch underground.

I so hope this little dog is finally captured. It looked so scared when I saw it a week ago

Bogie, Bogie... Give us hope, not fear!

Or at least, let us bury our heads in the sand.

Or perhaps some kind strangers took him into their home. And right now he is enjoying being brushed and petted after eating a large dinner followed by a dog treat or two. The kind strangers had recently been talking about adopting a little rescue, and they feel happy and blessed that this dog appeared on their doorstep. And they all lived happily ever after.

I agree with Barefoot. I so hope someone took him in, or he found his way home! We just lost our little dog after 15 years and can't convince my husband we need a new one just yet. It still hurts too much.
