Rocky and the Rollers always increase traffic. Couple that with Market night and you have a significant amount of traffic.

Sawgrass Square entertainment will come soon in the meantime the eating area is fun and refreshing. I always have the option to get in the car and drive 20 min up to LSL and watch the rat race.
Edna’s has food trucks. Hardly the several restaurants as the other squares. My favorite square is LSL, hands down.

No surprise the folks from the southern villages are traveling in their cars to the squares north of 44. Eastport can’t be built soon enough!

It will be very nice when eastport is open but for now they have no choice but to head north for many restaurants and entertainment.

The Apt dwellers have just as much right as Villagers to the entertainment since taxes pays for part of the cost.

I do not want to move out of The Villages but I surely did not expect this influx of population in this community when we purchased here in 2009. We were told that the built out would at 466A. Well, that certainly didn't pan out.

the squares are open to all, whether they live in TV or not.
These "apartment dwellers" who are gumming everything up, might very well be not Villagers at all.
And, just wait until I and my fellow snowbirds get down there to really congest things...I'll be there in 8 days with a huge murmuration right behind me...it'll be grand.

Standard reply by ALL VILLAGE SALES AGENTS.. We were told the same thing when we bought in Charlotte that there would be NO HOMES SOUTH OF 44. LOL As they were pouring KOOL ADE.

I'm cool with it. I like to see some people now and then who don't look like retirees.

Just enjoyed a lovely late afternoon of shopping, dining at great restaurant, entertainment, and best cookies ever.. No didn’t take up space in SS, LSL, or Brownwood (our preference) we went to Disney Springs.

It’s our every other week trip for a great day, and evening. We stay over enjoy the parks, excellent food, and late night fireworks from the roof top at contemporary.

Honestly our first drive by trip in TV was 2004, SS was the only place to be. But as the years went by, we rarely shop, eat, or visit square entertainment, unless we have company in. That’s usually a one and done. Can’t remember the last time we went to a special event at one of the square’s. Once Eastport is built I am sure we will visit couple times, then back to our regularly scheduled trips out of the bubble

How is the drive down to Disney World? I’m a huge Disneyland fan here in SoCal, and have been going to Disneyland since 1956. We will be headed to TV in a month when escrow closes, so WDW will be our new Disney home. Hoping it’s not a bad drive. We’re 60 miles from Disneyland here, but it takes 2.5 hours to get there in LA traffic. Not fun!

I'm sure the people who bought 10 years before you said the same thing when you moved in...
