Depends on how far south or North you are living in TV and where your DW destination is. Anywhere from about 1 to 1 1/2hrs to DW. We're just north of 466A and usually takes us about 1:20 and NEVER have had any traffic (crashes excluded). That doesn't count waiting to get into the DW parking lot.

I’ve been here since 2001 , I’ve moved with the villages from Springdale to Fenney in 6 different homes , the only time that there was any mystery about them building was before they crossed 44 and it didn’t take a visionary to see all that vacant land and figure they’ll go for it . They have done a wonderful job with this place and despite the naysayers that the place is going downhill , it’s seems more and more people are buying here. The place everybody came from has changed ,so why not here especially when it’s better with more options and for those who liked it here in the early days , there are plenty of small parks with one pool ,one clubhouse and one golf course if your lucky , leaving people with lots of time to talk wabout how great the villages is getting with all the new growth

You are probably right about that but the total population was no where near what is on the horizon. I just hope our system of roadways will be able to support the population.

We’re only about 40 miles and 45 minutes or so on the Florida
Turnpike.

Morse will be a nightmare from 466 north. Surprised they never turned it into a four land road.

In early 2016 when we were hoping to sell our house in Virginia and move to The Villages, I joined this DG and asked about the traffic along Morse Road between Spanish Springs and 466.

People said the traffic was terrible, so we never considered buying a house that would require us to drive along that stretch of road.

40 miles & 45 minutes? Curious as to where in TV you live. Google Maps has it at 64.8 miles from our house off ODell Circle right near Mallory CC to DW main gate and 67.2 Miles to Disney Springs both of which is about what we've measured in many trips over 5 years. Wait, you did say "or so".

Thank you! Sounds much better than getting to Disneyland here. DL is never a day trip for us. We have to stay at least one night because of the travel time.

We’ll likely buy south of 44 because we want a brand new home, but we’ll see. 😊
