I doubt he was misogynistic but he probably was a Yankee. A Southern man would have seen the line and just gone back to his cart and figured the world is my restroom. I'll find a suitable bush somewhere.

I would, and I have. I've also copped a squat in the woods, on the side of a road when I was driving in an area without a nearby gas station, used latrines and outhouses. When you gotta go, you gotta go. I don't rightly give a flying fart who's in there. If there's a stall with a door that I can squat behind or a bush I can duck behind, it's fair game to me. My bladder is more important than your testosterone.

Hmmmmm, OK?
Not sure how my testosterone was put in play, but OK.
With the exception of the one college party at Goucher Dorms (back then an all female college) there has never been a time I had to go with such urgency that I'd consider using a bush. Even then I made it across to IHOP (in some areas the restaurant not much cleaner than a public restroom) Just lucky I guess.

I lived in the burbs at the foot of a mountain range. We used to have lots of keg parties in the fields there. They don't have bathrooms there, or even outhouses. I also went to girl scout camp where we had latrines, which were just holes dug in the ground with a squatting stool and plywood walls and a screen for a roof to keep the birds and squirrels and bats out.

Luck has nothing to do with it. Eliminating bodily waste is a natural thing, there's nothing more natural than eliminating bodily waste - in nature.

Just bring your own TP, or learn to identify leaves VERY carefully, even in the dark. Otherwise you could be in for a world of hurt - and a world of poison oak.

If there was only a urinal, the problem would be non existent.

The women should realize they were at the Men's door.

I don't see a problem with the women using the men's restroom as you described it.
I am assuming one person is in the restroom at a time. Thus why not label both restrooms just restrooms. No need for separate rooms when only one person uses at a time.

His argument, much to the chagrin and chastisement of the women standing in line, was its the MEN's restroom not the women's. Aren't the women offended when the men use their facilities?

The question is, is this guy a hero activist for men's rights, or a misogynistic cad?
It depends. How did those women identify as?

Comment begs the question as to why when there is only `1 toilet in each bathroom(no urinal) and 1 is labeled men and the other is labeled women. Bathrooms like this should be for both genders. This way men and women have equal access and same privacy.

Do these rooms have multiple stalls? If not, then perhaps the Men's and Women's signs should be replaced by a simple Restroom sign.
Agree 100%. Feel bad for woman at major venues like Amway Center. Line for them is out the door and men, no problem.
