Widening Morse ain't going to happen. IMHO
At least south of 466, with the roundabouts it is much safer to enter Morse or BV.

Neither was the Long Island Expressway or a host of other roads you could name.

Another good reason why I seldom go back to New England

The number of cart/car accidents on Morse compared to the 100's of thousands of vehicles that use Morse annually is very small. I believe the County(s) involved do not consider the current design of Morse Blvd nearly deficient enough to warrant a redesign/rebuild.

Trying to hold the "developer" responsible, legally or otherwise is wishful thinking since Morse is a public road, designed and built by government agencies.

Although we don't drive our carts on Morse north of 466 daily, we do travel it by cart several times month. We don't find it unsafe but can understand why some may. When a car/cart/bike accident happens on that section of road it sure can be very serious.

Drive safely….

Don

Perhaps someone can explain why the southern gate(466 end) only allows one car to pass thru at a time while the north gate(Paige Place) stays open for minutes at a time allowing cars to buzz thru at an unsafe rate of speed. You take your life in your hands trying to go thru the area with a golf cart on the path. The line of sight to the right while on the cart path is blocked by the gate house causing a cart to have to wait in the middle as long as traffic is passing as the gate stays open.I am surprised no one has been hurt by this situation.

I do not drive Morse on my cart that often so I do not see these problems. Although I have never had a problem or concern. Maybe you should attend one of the north of 466 meetings to express your concerns. I am sure that those in power do not peruse TOTV all of the time.

I don't even want to bring up about the men who drive their golf cart
with their left leg hanging out of the cart.

I haven't seen any amputees yet, but you never know . . .

Idiots are idiots there is no cure. How wide does a road have to be to keep some one from driving down the wrong side of an interstate, or keep and automobile from the golf cart paths. You can not fix stupid.
