And then there’s this beaut from earlier today. After parking their rental cart in the golf cart parking area, this rocket scientist went to his car and drove it into the cart parking area to reload his clubs, then had to make a U turn, or rather a 29 point K turn

There was a guy who drove his pickup into the golf cart parking section in the Spanish Plaines strip mall last year (where there's Publix, the FedEx store, Koyame, and Subway). I was leaving Subway when he pulled in and I had to yell at him about it. He's like "well I'm handicapped." And I told him "this isn't handicap parking. It's a parking lot for golf carts and you're blocking it with your truck." He didn't like that. He was dropping something off at FedEx. So I told him to go park in the regular lot, and I'd give him a ride with his box to the golf cart lot with my golf cart, and then deliver him back to his car. Turned out he was perfectly capable of carrying the box himself from a parking space in the regular lot 50 feet away from the FedEx door.

But he was a special boi, mama's very special boi.

That is my assumption. That they're all out to get me.

Unfortunately, it's not confined to The Villages. A few months ago at MCO a person was wheeled to the baggage claim area next to me by an attendant. When he saw his bag, he literally jumped out of his wheelchair, grabbed it and RAN to the exit faster than I could. There should be a large fine for falsely utilizing a service that others truly need, not to mention a permanent place in group 9 boarding for the rest of his life.

Welcome to Snowbird Season!
How do you know it was a snowbird? I have witnessed this type of behavior during the hot months also. I just don’t understand the need to struggle around another
Cart when neither of you can go more than 20 mph, is it some type of inferiority complex? Foolishness.

Congratulations for walking on the correct side of the path. I use that often. I estimate that only about 75% of walkers do so.

Walkers probably are not aware of how difficult that path is for driving just after the sun has come up when headed to Everglades. The sun glare is terrible. So watching out for your own safety is really important. I often see walkers who even though they are on the correct side are so focused on their cell phones that they are unaware of traffic. Are they also snowbirds and / or stupid?

Glad you were not hit. Practice personal safety, regardless of your activity.

Pretty easy, look for the summerwear when it's cold.
