Just learned that my system is not operating and probably due to lightening strike nearby recently. I am "up North" and can not remember name of company which installed it 4 years ago in Buttonwood. Fried the controller a couple years ago and I assume same this time also.

Call Home Warranty and they can give you the name of the company that did your initial installation.

However, since you're out of warranty, it probably would be a good idea to check around and get a good price from someone reputable.

My two go-to guys for sprinkler repairs are Jim Baumgartner (352/504-2317) or Rupert Cross (352/406-8814).

You will have to give whomever you hire access to your garage since this is where the timer is.

I second Jim Baumgartner. He just did a check on our system and set us straight on watering. He mentioned that he's done many replacements of control boxes. He can do the whole nine yards. I got his name from people on this forum.
