enlarge on your monitor to see the dealer markup stated clearly. .

Not a ripoff, as everything is stated clearly. .
This is the Green Energy idiocy at work.

They want 8 cylinder gas guzzlers to go away

Well if you're crazy enough to buy a car in Oklahoma when you live here so be it. Some local dealer screenshots would be appreciated.

It looks like to me they’re giving a lot more for your trade so they must of jacked up the price on a new one to offset the high price they’re giving you for your old car that the dealer has no idea if the trade in is any good. But this Bronco price has got to be a joke because I don’t think you could get enough options on the Bronco to get the price that high & I worked for Ford fo 38 yrs. Nothing would surprise me thou.

Right now one Ford dealer in Jax has one for sale. The sticker price is $51,495 and he is asking $75,000. If you check out E-Bay right now they have lots of 2021 Broncos for sale. The most expensive one was $165,000 Such a deal.

Before the virus pandemic you could get same vehicle in Oklahoma 3 to 8 thousand cheaper than anywhere in Florida. Florida has automatic mark up on anything you buy.

Price gauging maybe, prices on everything going up $ yes? Do many of you think about what Covid did to businesses ,to the supply lines , to the deaths and retiring of many truck drivers and the fact that’s many businesses are just trying to recover there losses by charging more I’m not an economist but it’s not surprising that this is happening and at sometime will pass

OP, “hang loose” this “craziness “ is only temporary maybe as long as 12-18 months. There are a lot of excellent cars out there some new but even more hardly used you can purchase if you absolutely need one. No need to be scammed…

You have to be out of your mind to pay suck a price for a vehicle.
USA autos still only offer 3 yrs or 36 K miles warranty.

Such a rip off.
Than we all wonder why we try from other countries.
This article speaks for itself.

Would love to be able to buy direct from the factory and cut out all the dirt bag car salesmen.. It shouldn’t take 2 or more hours to get out of the dealership when your paying cash ..

I can buy a new Camry for $ 60,000 and easily sell it for $ 50,000.

Will buy three of them to make it up on volume.

We call it the new woke math.

Not all salesman are bad guys. When I lived in Ohio I bought bought my cars from the same salesman for 19 years. I would drive down and look at their inventory, tell him what I wanted and leave, the next day he would call me with the out the door price, never had to haggle as I was eligible for the GM employee plan, he would drive it up to my home, bring all the papers with him and go back with my check and my trade in. There is also a terrific salesman here at Philips Buick in Fruitland Park by the name of Scott Hall, he's a no nonsense guy and very easy to deal with.

I doubt if the price increase is local, I would bet it is nationwide.
