Beauty is in the eye of the owner.
The Villages delivers variety. Everything from manufactured homes to $2mil homes. I'm not a carport guy, but there are people who like the concept. If TV guessed wrong and they don't sell, they can go back and retrofit a garage. As with every home in TV, there appears to be a buyer for everything. We drove by the entrance last weekend, my Bride thought the village name was cute.

We noticed that several, but not all, of the villas had carports. We thought the area looked nice. |

If you look at the map, the homes were in the green area just across the MMP from the new postal station. |

I lived on the Historic Side for four years with a carport and a storage shed at the back of the port. It worked fine.

Do some research. Although a different spelling, the name has historical significance.

If the name has "historical significance", the spelling should not have been changed. As it is spelled, it reminds me of the 1968 movie, "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang".

[QUOTE=coffeebean;1749907]OMG. I'm so glad someone else said it first. I have been thinking that ever since I first heard the name of this new village.
Reminds me.......in NJ, there was a street a few miles away from our home called, "Gay Boy Court". Hubby said we could find our dream home on that street and he would not buy it![/ Do some research. Although a different spelling, the name has historical significance. |

Wow. Mention carports and those that look down their nose come out to speak.

Not much of a choice if you only want to buy new.
