You can scream all you want but if the component that failed isn't repairable and isn't in stock and your current units failed part isn't swappable with something current then you're basically screwed until said part arrives.
Sorry about what is happening but I just went through the same thing with our Rheem unit. Buy fans, a lot of them.

Our 9 yo units quit working 9/20. Chuck Farrell gave us 3 units to pick from. It was 86 in the house, nothing in stock, so we ordered what might come in first, unit didn’t arrive until November 3. They brought us a portable unit we used in our bedroom, but didn’t help much. We spent days out in someone’s AC, and slept on the lanai at night.

Not one company had an units to replace, so it was a long hot fall. I would think the warranty department would have jumped in to get you some kind of relief with having the company supply a portable unit

There is no reason an entire compressor/condenser or blower cannot be installed in less than a day. Forget the part, get another unit. You are being too easy.

Four weeks without A/C?! I would have my hands around someone's neck by now. I hope you have a dehumidifier running 24/7 to prevent mold.

OP, if you know the exact part, have you tried Amazon or Ebay for a part, and then have the company install if you or a handyman cannot do this?

Besides going without electrically after a storm. going without AC has to be right up there.
Or having a new AC malfunction.

Good luck !

Thinking you would need more than one but a great idea

Goodness ... what "part" is it? Maybe some of us "internet scroungers" can locate one. Do you have the part number etc? Can't imagine what it could be.

Even a controller board can be found online as I replaced one in my 14 yr old Carrier unit's compressor for $40 a few years ago when the useless home appliance warranty service couldn't even figure out what it was (needless to say I immediately cancelled them). Found it on eBay. There aren't that many parts.

Edit: They replaced the fan motor, contactor & cap and nothing helped. I even told them it was the board but they "know better." Only thing left was the circuit board. That fixed it. I even bought a spare.

Motels and hotels have AC. Wife would not be happy if I told her we were going to " tough it out ".
Oh, send the bill to the warranty co. Manufacturer probably has parts and could FedEx it. Just my feeling, but I believe some of the excuses citing supply chain is just BS. Like not refunding your dollar because they have no $ 1.00 bills even though they have a drawer full of quarters. Not smart enough or motivated enough to figure a workaround.
Good luck.

Got one but those units really don't do much in a big house and thanks.

I would be calling every HVAC company looking for the part. Not sure what part or what company you are working on but you need something. If they don’t have a unit to get the part from, the manufacturer probably has a new unit to get the part or replace the entire unit since it is under warranty.

Portable unit we purchased is not helping much at all. No answers and nowhere to go from here. Beyond the point of screaming!
Did you post here just to vent or were you seeking meaningful advice?

If you provided specific information about the part or parts someone here might be able to provide some actionable information.

I'm thinking the same. Find out the exact part name and part number. Toss it in here and let us help you get the parts you need.
