But please just don't let then move next to me! I will not have a water feature in my yard. But I did know that when we purchased the place.

There is no Lake Sumter.
It’s Cherry Lake.
Lake Sumter Landing is a name made up by the developer combining the names of Lake and Sumter counties. Similar to the community college.

Of course, no one working for the Villages ever knows ANYTHING. I just hope enough people mention it and that word somehow gets to the decision makers. Can’t we get a water feature in Brownwood Paddock square on par with Spanish Springs for example? Love the Villages but feeling a little cheated in this regard.
Just moved here and complaining about something you knew about before you bought and won't be changed. Please don't become another one of those "complaining old people" just enjoy your life 8n TV, or move.

If you want a water feature go outside your home and turn on your garden hose

You do have a expensive feature at Brownwood. At the entrance at 44 there are metal castings of animals on a trail roundup, but not as close to the very small square. Operative word for this square is Small. Where would they put such a water display you would like to see it in the small area?

Your priorities are much different than most who live here, much different. Enjoy what is here as there is so much to enjoy. Less complaining will make your life here much more enjoyable.

My husband is a Michigander ... and it's been easy for me to become a "Michgander by marriage". Please don't misunderstand, I am still (and always will be) a Hoosier through and through. But it's easy to enjoy the time we spend Up North each summer. Thanks for this thread and the path is has taken. We will put Brownwood Acres on the agenda for this August.
