Last nite on Long Island we had winds of 65 miles per hour and the snow just keeps on comming.whiteout conditions! It is now 4:30 on Monda and no sign of stopping...Thank goodness my place is closed for the day..I cant wait till next year..I know TV is experiencing frost conditions right now..but its not SNOW!!! Snowing like crazy here in upstate NY...we're heading down to TV tomorrow if there's a break in the weather. The forecast for the weather in TV is in the
70's later this week!

Though it's sunny and not a snowflake in sight, it's 13 above with chill factor. Our daughter was going to take the DC/Chinatown Chinese Bus this afternoon, then visit friends in Manhattan and Syosset before flying back to New Orleans out of LGA Thursday.
With an outside NY-based advisor we might be able to dissuade her if prudent.
She's been there before and had in-depth immersion.
We're fortunate to have dodged the white bullets.
We won't be able to visit TV until next year - January 5, and we'll bring warm weather.

Update Edit/
Bus just called and cancelled
she is going back to studying.......(the insides of the eyelids!!)

L and L and L this week.

Default Yeh I remember why we moved

Came up for a Christmas visit. I told Santa not to bring me anything. Well he brought us one big Blizzard. Finally stopped snowing, only blowing a little. OK Santa I promise I'll be good. No more snow before I leave Monday. I'll take the 28 degrees in TV over this anyday.

The plan was to be in TV by now and avoid the white stuff. The best laid plans of mice and men.

I came to work this morning and the wind was gusting ansd blowing snow so it created low visibility.

Arrived safely and now I can't wait to get home!!!

No matter how cold it gets in TV, it beats dealing with this junk.

New Year's resolution is to move to TV by hook or crook.
