The crowd police thing really bothers me. The numbers in TV do not support any of these peoples concerns. Its like you want people to die if they go out in public. I think some people moved to TV for the wrong reason. Even before the virus, there were people that do nothing but complain and try to police what others are doing. One day, you people are going to say the wrong thing to the wrong person. I hope this does not happen, but fear the outcome will be real bad for someone. If you are scared, stay home, if you are at risk stay home. The best protection is protecting yourself.

I saw this too, but don't worry, there was a Sheriff's Deputy relaxing in his car in a parking lot behind Starbucks.

Just my thoughts.
Steve
Until there are any verified treatments against Covid-19, people gathering and building immunities will NOT protect them from this brand new virus. Each time the body meets and defeats a new antigen, they have T-cells that are ready to pounce if they meet it again, sometimes for life, sometimes for just a period of time. Their GENERAL immunity may help but cannot be counted on. Where is Blueash? This is above my pay grade.

It's a gamble .... but the odds are with the revelers.
If only I felt this were true, but I don't. This tells us that The Villages has not had much testing. Who knows how many people have been infected and are carriers? If they are asymptomatic, we will never know until we all get tested for antibodies to this virus.

Which comment are you referring to? Is it the post just before yours? Sometimes people post at the same time and your post does not follow the post you are replying to.

It is much easier for us to know which post you are replying to if you click on "Reply With Quote" when you prepare to post your comment. Then there will be no guess work as to who you are replying to.
Thanks.

Sweden's death rate per million is higher than other Baltic states, but less than many other European countries, slightly higher than USA.

If Sweden achieves herd immunity in a few months, their death rate will drop to almost zero, while lockdown countries will see deaths continue to grow for next two years or until vaccine is developed. In the end they may lose the battle but win the war.
Latest stats show Swedens death rate at 12.3, with the USA at 5.8. That's more than double, not "slightly higher".

Amen brother! Everyone thinks they are an expert because they heard on the internet, T.V., a friend, etc. Most people don't know the first thing about aseptic technique. I see people driving around with masks on, hanging from their necks...oh boy what a joke. Masks do not work against viruses...all I know is that the world is a such a scary place outside my kitchen window so I'm just going to put my mask and gloves on and sit in my closet until this is all over!!!!! I'm just so frightened!!!!

Coffeebean, they can do what they want & the people can do the same, it’s they’re choice. Coronavirus to me is for real, & if these people are that brave let them party. But me like you I’ll do the things where I feel safe. All I can say is if these people want to call this virus a bluff it’s fine with me! Have fun & enjoy yourself.

I think the reckless people should have to sign a waiver saying they will not ask for medical assistance due to corona!!! Why should these drs and nurses put their lives on the line any more than they have to help people who have NO regard for anyone's life!!! These r truly very selfish and ignorant people!!!
