As far as parades being bad for trafic, well, that's tough cookies. Parades bring a lot of business to the merchants around the square and without successful merchants, the squares would not be the attraction that they are. Like it or not, it's part of the Villages lifestyle.

One choice should have been as follows: I seldom go to the parades anymore, but I'm glad they have them. That's what I would vote for.
The poll is biased!
Yes, Thanks for posting. Parades are a very American form of participation & entertainment. Kids of all ages enjoy them. Didn't see the poll, so did not vote in it.

If my niece or grandson were down and there was a parade it would be nice, but I wouldn't attend one on my own without children.

Yes and you should of ended that choice right there. instead you add don't care one way or the other.

I got 3 pms from people I don't know that said they voted for the- do not care of that choice -but don't want to see parades canceled and would never of voted for that!

I agree with everything others have posted. Just got on TOTV and must get right off!
Don't take anything personal Tal because I think you are a great guy. Just think that one choice is really poorly worded and many don't want parades canceled or hate them. They just don't care one way or another.

I really don't care. I won't go to a parade and I won't go to the squares when there is a parade scheduled, but there are plenty of other times to go. So let the parade lovers have their parades. I don't care.

I agree & voted the same way. We've been here 12 1/2/ years. I personally have seen enough parades. However, lots of other people love them & we have so many more newbies that will be moving to the Villages and they are good for our businesses. Everyone makes money !

If you don't like the wording of Tal's poll, with all due respect, you can always start another poll.
