You are right, there will always be irritating folks, whether it is parking or driving or whatever. I guess we all need to work on having the serenity to ignore petty irritations. Ommmmmmmmmmm.

There are two clearly different meaning to the term... and both just might be applicable!

1) To tell yourself to calm down and relax or chill. "Woosah Dumdum!"
2) To tell others to calm down and relax or chill. "Woosah Dude!"
(There is only one word that differentiates the two)

I find it funny....although I agree that it can be annoying when someone parks their vehicle in front of a doorway, the reality is unless you are handicapped and need the entrance ramp these are CARS we are talking about..not 1/4 mile long trains...all it means is you have to walk an extra 5 feet to walk around it! In an area where most residents are retired and spending their days walking golf courses, swimming, playing pickleball, dancing, etc, etc..why gripe about walking an extra few feet??? I could even understand it if the temperature was 20 degrees but, for petes sake..the weather is beautiful. I just don't get it.

Cool

After reading this thread and all the gnashing of teeth about parking in front of Sweetbay, when I was at Sweetbay last night, I parked in front . . .

When someone trips and falls to the ground, do you:

1. Offer to help them to their feet.

2. Laugh hysterically.

Some people always think of others, and some people always think of their own enjoyment.

I don't know, but suspect it has to do with how you were raised, personal experience with someone that was selfish or uncaring, or even a personality disorder. We have them all even here in the Friendliest Home Town in America. Fortunately for us, the numbers of the kind and sensitive folks far outnumber the other.

The reality of the thinking of this rude guy who could care less about anyone else and park in front of Sweetbay is that (wait for it) "There is no sense being rude and caring less about others unless you can act like it.
