Geez, I can't remember the last time I thought--or even heard about--Lanzetta's, the best pastries around the Allerton Avenue area. Thanks for the memory! And the Paradise theater? I think every high school in the Bronx, including mine (Taft) graduated from there!

Lanzetta Pastry shop was so yummy!!!! And Florida girl...St Lucy's ..I went to Immaculate conception grammer school then Aquinas 182nd st but they "asked me to leave at the end of sophmore year" because I was dating a guy in the area (school) and they didnt like that idea too much..I then went to Evander CHilds for the next two years. I rember going to visit the "grotto" at St Lucy's..
Who remembers how fantastic it was when Freedom Land was first built.? Another great place to meet guys..It's now called Co-op City..
Did you love WhiteCastle on Boston Rd? I cant wait till I'm down there permanently and can meet everyone at the Bronx Club....Laura
