If you call the local police they will be forced to leave the course or be arrested and fined! It's trespassing plain and simple.

an ambassador friend of mine was not working near sunset...people were playing/walking and he called the local police. They did show up and escorted the people off the course.

Just because you belonged to a force that picked and chose what laws/ordinances to enforce doesn't mean there aren't cops that do the whole job.

Some of them were actually driving their carts on the sopping wet fairways. That is just plain rude and childish. They would be the first ones to complain about the condition of a golf course. If they at least had stayed on the cart path only as requested by the sign, I wouldn't be so annoyed with them.

Just so you are aware during summer hours you can play a reduced rate late and play. The starter shack is closed and the ambassador is gone. You can play as many holes as you can before dark. Driving on the fairway is not right if it is cart path only, unless the person has a handicap pass.

He wasn't on the course in his cart. He was driving by a n d can see from the road. Those of you who don't believe in rules should move to one of our cities with the rioters and break all the rules with them. Hope you have fun.

Default Course is closed

People feel entitled to break the rules. They are above the law in many situations. In a nut shell this is what's wrong with the World today. Like any and all of the freedoms we have the rule breakers force change. What else can be done besides put gates up? We wonder why its not like the good ole days. This is just one example.
Just to vent on my pet peeve, how about speed on the cart paths? The speeders cause the back-ups. They feel they're cool and getting away with something. Enforcement is the solution. It is coming to that. People are getting hurt.
So when change comes there is only a handful of people that drive it and we see it in front of us everyday

"After hours" and "Course Closed" are two different things. And that late rate applies only to championship courses.

Also, if it is cart path only, your "handicap pass" means nothing, you still have to stay on the cart path

How about the ones that drive around the puddles in the cart path creating ruts and getting mud on their cart and then the following carts do the same? How much sense does that make?

Interesting thread.
The cart path only thing is clear, they can play, but stay on cart path. It’s for the course.

Course Closed - probably not for the rain but because it was that course’s maintenance day. Just like you wouldn’t have walked a round on Mangrove when they closed it for the bridge work.

On a course open for the day, tee times end at 7PM - but if the course isn’t closed, you can play until the sign goes down. This doesn’t seem to be one of those times.

The speed on the multi modal paths will never be enforced because they're private property and speeders know they will never be caught and know they couldn't be positively identified if they did cause property damage or injury unless their cart was disabled. Speeding is one thing. It's the passing on blind curves or heavy oncoming traffic that's the problem. We've been here nearly 8 years. Law enforcement presence has dropped significantly since.
