Most people ARE honest and would NOT think of doing something like that. But, 100% of all people are NOT honest and I have known many, personally - they tend to brag about their dishonesty for SOME (?) reason. They say their should-be "quiet" part out loud! .......to REALLY learn something about a subject you have to have more than just most posters just contributing by putting 3 little, DUMB, laughing memes .......you NEED, REALLY need some controversy or EDGE to the discussion - I am NOT TALKING insults or name-calling......just a little pinch of sarcasm or EDGE to be permitted OCASSIONALLY! It would allow for a FREER and more lively discussion, which would bring out MUCH more knowledge and facts.

This is someone else's post on another thread:

when i was looking at houses in StoneCrest it was a major hassle to follow my Realtor thru the Guard shack .... after looking at a couple houses , i was approached by a Stone Crest resident who offered to sell me ID and a Villages Gate Entry Card for 60.00... so i know it happens , it happened to me!

So, if true, then calling John Rohan or any other Village contact may get you the official answer, but it won't tell you what is happening unofficially. It looks like people have found a way to either forge the passes, or obtain extras and sell them for a profit.

Either way, it is long past time that our gate pass and ID system were updated to current standards.
