My pool was 85 yesterday. The rain has definitely kept it cooler and being a deep pool probably helps also. One summer the pool was so warm it was not worth getting in.

BTW, after going through a couple of pool thermometers we found temperature guns on amazon.com for under $15. They are really easy and accurate for a quick reading of the pool temperature. I use it also to see how hot things get around our patio heater.

Jack's Solar was just here. It seems T&D had it set all wrong. The solar was running continually. They never shut it off. Jacks solar did the install originally. We have a set it and forget it system. They said they have continued to have this issue with T& D not knowing how to properly set or make changes in the solar settings. These pool girls leave a lot to be desired regarding needed knowledge to operate these systems.
