I DO have a lighted flamingo and it resides right under the lighted palm tree...ya gotta love Christmas in Florida!

Rules are there for protection. If they are a bad rule(s) and the majority votes to change them then that is how they are modified.

As soon as you start bending this way and that for whom ever it gets complicated.

If I did not want to follow the rules of the Villages then I would never have moved here.

And I have friends who mock me for moving here and will not move here because of the rules. So be it!

The rules here aren't difficult to live with, at least not for me. I can't believe they're that difficult for others, either. Maybe, as I've mentioned, some just have not lived in areas where there were restrictions.

One does have to admit, the place is lovely and over the years, has continued to remain so. What's the old saying, "People mock what they don't understand."
