with the flooring installed, what are the typical limits of load?
can it support 'living' or just storage.
Not a two ton waterbed, just walking 'round.

Everyone I have seen is only okay for storage, there is just enough room to move around in a half-standing position. I wouldn't put much weight up there, but maybe the builder can give you some load limits. I have a few hundred pounds of stuff, spread around and I am also up there when I need to retrieve a stored item.

On our first home we paid extra to have the space built during construction, which included the flooring. In our current home we had to add the flooring after purchase.

Thanks Bogey
One of ours was an older model home on which the roof was modified to cover the screened lanai that's now an enclosed Florida room with a roofline going from wall to original peak.

We will check with a builder, but it's probably stick-built.
With 100k of us, maybe there's even a retired contractor among us?
I know once we arrive down yonder we'll share some of the skills we picked up over the last 5 decades

Default attic activity

I was always told by the truss designers that unless "attic trusses" were specified, they were not designed to support any weight but themselves and the sheetrock attached below.

It was mentioned in the Daily Sun a while back. At that time they declined to identify the people involved.

I've only been here since september but I'm noticing a trend. The Daily Sun doesn't report anything that's a downer.Real life has things that bring people down, but then again life in the villages is all sunshine....and I love it so maybe they're right!!

Coming from a
family of old time newspaper veterans and a recent communication masters' graduate, we are fans of good papers, and the Sun is a well done daily, something fading from the American scene.

We catch bits from the online version and have read about some of the disasters and personal tragic losses.

We have even noticed rare traces and an occasional allusion to another side of the aisle.

A good paper needs some balance

Default daily sun

As a paper owned and operated by the developer, probably at a loss, one can assume that there will be no content that reflects negatively on any aspect of TV. I think TOTV is the medium that provides the balance.
