Consider Chattahoochee river rock. It can be installed right over what you have and is beautiful and super durable. You will never need another floor installed. We had it installed in our Lanai and front porch 10 years ago (still looks like new) and had our garage floor done about 18 months ago. This stuff is the BEST product out there in my opinion. Contact me at 352-272-4540 and give me your email address and I can email you pics of our Lanai and garage if you wish. Gary

Have you considered Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring? New ones are waterproof, durable and since they are a "floating" floor they don't rely on adhesive to stay in place.

We were told by different floor companies that they would not recommend vinyl planking in our enclosed lanai unless it was cooled and/or heated constantly which we do not. We turn the air or heat on only when we’re out there. Also, if your lanai is in direct sunlight, it could fade. Tile would be the better choice if this is the case, but of course it costs more.

'Chattahoochee' is generally a water-based epoxy infused w/small river-smooth pebbles ( 3/16"-14" ). since the pebbles are encased in epoxy, proper prep is still most important.
