Default Landscaping south of 44

Just came back from a windy, tough bike ride to the southern Villages. Due to the wind our bike group slowed down to a moderate pace. As we rode south on Meggison I had time to look closely at all the landscaping. Time has gone by and now the shrubs and trees, particularly against the Turnpike side, are absolutely beautiful! The Villages landscapers, in my opinion, need to be commended for an outstanding job. The mix of native Florida plants and other plants is artistically done. The mixture of Hollies, viburnums, palms, pines, etc. just looks great. I saw a number of native plum trees blooming and their white blossoms were accentuated by all the green plants that surrounded them. I can’t wait to see how they continue to grow and become even more beautiful. The north certainly looks nice too with its sheared shrubs and more formal landscaping, but I now also like the naturalized look of the southern area. Well done Villages!

Yep, it's maturing very nicely!

Hows that second shopping center coming along? Heard the 4th Twon Square is ready to open and all those new restaurants are ready to go.

They emit or give off Carbon Dioxide and Oxygen, they thrive through the photosynthesis process. Perhaps you are confusing Carbon Dioxide with Carbon Monoxide?

No, he's not confused:

Supplemental carbon dioxide in greenhouses | ontario.ca

The benefits of carbon dioxide supplementation on plant growth and production within the greenhouse environment have been well understood for many years.

For the majority of greenhouse crops, net photosynthesis increases as CO2 levels increase from 340–1,000 ppm (parts per million). Most crops show that for any given level of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR), increasing the CO2 level to 1,000 ppm will increase the photosynthesis by about 50% over ambient CO2 levels.

Plants give off Carbon Dioxide, vehicles give off Carbon MONOXIDE. They are completely different gasses. Yes, there are benefits to some point before permeable saturate effects choke the plant in a greenhouse. I thought the inference was to a premise of the turnpike ecosystem?

There are no golf paths, except on courses. There are several Multi Modal Paths. Personally, I love seeing all the healthy people enjoying active past-times.

As a newer arrival, I am amazed how fast the landscaping grows here. The South area is starting to fill in, and it’s just beautiful!

While vehicles powered by internal combustion engines do produce carbon monoxide the amount of carbon dioxide produced is far greater. About 13% of exhaust is comprised of carbon dioxide vs less than 1% for carbon monoxide.

It truly is! With our longer growing season than other areas it doesn’t take as long to look more mature.

The process of photosynthesis is commonly written as: 6CO2 + 6H2O → C6H12O6 + 6O2. This means that the reactants, six carbon dioxide molecules and six water molecules, are converted by light energy captured by chlorophyll (implied by the arrow) into a sugar molecule and six oxygen molecules, the products. The sugar is used by the organism, and the oxygen is released as a by-product.

Plants give off carbon dioxide through respiration.

Let's get this straight. From Britannica:

Photosynthesis is the process by which plants use energy from the sun to make food. They use carbon dioxide from the air and water from the soil to make sugar and oxygen. Most plants release oxygen only during the day, when the sun can power photosynthesis. Carbon dioxide is not released during photosynthesis, but small amounts of that gas are emitted both day and night as a by-product of cellular respiration. It is worth noting that the majority of plants absorb carbon dioxide during the day for photosynthesis and do so in greater amounts than they release for cellular respiration.
