It had been explained before that he was just trying to tell the poster that he didn't need to correct himself with a second post; he just had to click on the "edit post" button and make the correction he wanted.

However, because of a nasty comment from a poster who totally misunderstood and took off on the helpful poster, everything was removed by the mods. So you are really only reading half of the story. Everything is hunky-dory and no one is policing anyone else's spelling, nor were they ever.

So you can now chill as well.

There has to be a way to put slimy people like this out of business. When I complained to the village warrantee dept. they said that the villages does not have the power or influence to do anything that protect the village residents. Seems hard to belief as they have a great influence on the various county's that encompass the villages.

It seems this was a private matter or contract between you and Hernandez-Lopez.
It's not the responsibility of The Villages Warranty Department to police private Resident/Contractor disputes and disagreements.

Please explain that, because if you thought every provider here is part of the builder's company, you were mistaken, and made a choice on your own for which you are blaming someone not responsible for your choice...
If I am wrong, please let me know, as I have found TV to be impeccably and entirely responsible to back up and fix anything that their contractors provide.
Would you please show me where the original poster called his problem contractor a Villages Contractor ???

Ok. Deep breath in! Exhale slowly! Now doesn't that feel better?

Report all these crooks to Citizens v Crime and the BBB. CvC does a wonderful job in working with our helpful LEOs to find and eliminate these "people" who prey on those whom they consider elderly and infirmed. Stay informed and educate yourselves.

My wife and I just wanted to be respectful and warn our fellow villages that we were ripped off by a contractor by the name of Lopes-Hernandez. We did not expect to be attacked by a few petty posters about their opinion of how my post was worded and how it did not meet their so called standarts . So much for the friendless town in the country. All this did was hijack the original purpose of the post to warn people to be weary of doing business with Lopez- Hernandez . Respectfully posted Paul O
