There are a lot of different takes on this.

Rittenhouse went there looking for trouble and armed to the teeth.

I predict he will most likely be acquitted of the murder charges and can only hope the jurors recognize what really happened and he's convicted on lesser charges. A smarmy hero wannabe, with a gun, purposely put himself into a situation where he might get the chance to shoot someone. He carried a prop (the medic kit), yet never even bothered to try and use it on the people he killed/shot, because that wasn't the real reason he was there. As stated earlier, those who are most rooting him on are white supremacists/KKK/Proud Boys/Etc., who would love nothing more than to think that they are getting a green light, to go play vigilante tough guy at future protests and get away with the same thing as Rittenhouse. People and groups like that rooting you on, tells a reasonable/decent person all they need to know about the little thug, what happened - and his true motive for even being there.

KENOSHA, Wis. — Roughly 500 troops from the Wisconsin Army National Guard are reporting for active duty as law enforcement officials prepare for the conclusion of the Kyle Rittenhouse murder trial, Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers’ office said Friday.

Evers’ office had previously said troops were ready to be mobilized if the governor deemed it necessary, but did not provide specifics on how many may be called.

On Friday, the governor’s office said the troops will stage outside Kenosha on standby to respond if local law enforcement agencies request their help.

Any Guilty verdict gets overturned. Prosecutor’s ? of post arrest silence is now and has always been reversible error! Judge should have declared mistrial with prejudice!
